Nagisa: …… It looks like I’ve arrived on site earlier than expected. 

…… It seems the job Hiyori-kun and Jun were at before this got prolonged, and Ibara is probably still in the middle of a meeting.

…… It might be okay to go to the filming location early…… Hm?

…… To think that there would be a crowd in front of a train station like this. I wonder if there’s some sort of event happening.

Wataru: Now now, please pay attention to my hand……☆

Nagisa: (...... This voice is-)

Wataru: One, Two, Amazing! A bouquet of flowers appeared from out of nowhere!

Nagisa: (…… It really is Wataru-kun. A splendid sight as usual.)

(...... Still, I wonder why he’s doing magic tricks in a place like this.)

Wataru: Now then, following this…….

Oh my? Oh my oh my oh my……? I never thought I would meet you in a place like this!

Nagisa: ……?

Wataru: That’s right! You who just looked behind yourself! I’m talking about you!

Nagisa: …… Could it be. You’re talking about me?

Wataru: Yes. It couldn’t be anyone but you. My close friend Nagisa Ran-kun ☆

Now, please give me your hand! Let me invite you to my stage.

Nagisa: (…… The audience’s gazes are focused on me.)

(...... Their faces say that they would not have even dreamed of me accidentally being in this place.)

(...... They must think this too is a pre-planned performance being carried out.)

Wataru: (Whisper) Fufufu. It’s just like you to ask for the meaning of my actions instead of asking for what you should do in this situation.

(Whisper) However, you can’t do that.

(Whisper) This is already atop the stage. For the sake of the audience of are impatiently waiting, now we must act as the finest jesters ♪

Nagisa: (Whisper) …… Maybe you’re right.

(Whisper) …… What they want to see is entertainment that would excite their own hearts.

(Whisper) …… What we should do right now is to answer to the expectations of the audience, not to comprehend the doubts I hold.

Wataru: That’s right. It saves me from trouble since you’re quick to reach a conclusion, Nagisa-kun.

Now then, even though this is an improvised stage, let’s make it a fun and delightful performance……☆

Nagisa: ….. Mm. So that just as the other day, we'll show them that the audience won’t be able to avert their gaze from the two of us.

(Scene cut)

Wataru: Fufufu ♪ The stage was a great success.

Once again, thank you for taking part on the fly, Nagisa-kun. It was a really fun time☆

Nagisa; …… That’s my line.

…… Thanks to your invitation, I could have the valuable experience of being assistant to a magician.

Wataru: If it’s to your liking, what about standing on an even bigger stage next time?

As I had expected, Nagisa-kun has an aptitude for this. No, it might be more accurate to say that you’re prudent?

Even though we didn’t have any prior discussions, you quickly guessed the magic tricks I was about to perform and provided support.

It might have been a while since I was able to carry out an easy stage such as this one.

Nagisa: …… As for myself, I was just fumbling along, so I’m happy that you said that.

…… I was doing things based on what I thought you would do in those situations, Wataru-kun.

…… This isn’t the first stage I’ve been on with you, after all.

Wataru: Are you remembering “JNLC”? If I remember correctly, I did demonstrate a few magic tricks during practice.

Nagisa: …… You proceeded with today's stage based on the magic tricks you showed me at that time, didn’t you?

Wataru: Oh my, so you did notice after all.

Even so, just because you memorised the magic tricks, being able to set up the support is a different story.

Sure enough, it worked out well all thanks to Nagisa-kun’s capabilities.

Well, even that Nagisa-kun would be a little bewildered at a magic trick you’re seeing for the first time!

Nagisa: …… Mm. Naturally, I wasn’t able to perfect the magic seed that allows things to float.

Wataru: It would be a disgrace as a magician if I let it be found out so easily ☆

Even though you were on the stage as a performer, from my perspective, you’re also one of the audience members.

Nagisa: …… I see. As expected, you have your own motives, Wataru-kun.

…… This show certainly has meaning.

Wataru: Oh my, what are you talking about?

…… Just kidding, it’s pointless to play the fool when with you.

In that case, I will accept the role of the culprit. Would it be okay for you to let me hear your deductions?

Nagisa: …… As you are none other than Wataru-kun, there might be times where you will start a sudden street show.

…… However, I felt an intent from you that you were trying to prolong today’s stage somehow.

Wataru: Is that so? I was just putting on the best show so the audience that gathered would be satisfied.

Nagisa: …… From what I can see, you looked like you were waiting for something, Wataru-kun.

…… The answer lies within the seats of the audience. Because several times, your attention was directed towards a single seat.

…… It could be that child was the reason you started that stage.

…… Yes. Without a doubt it was that lost little one that was just reunited with their parents.

Wataru: Hmm. To sum it up, is that how it is?

…… I, Hibiki Wataru, found a little child who had been separated from their parents in front of the train station, and to make it so they would stop crying, I prepared this stage.

Nagisa: …… Then, by continuing to do magic tricks, a crowd would gather, and the child could be reunited with their parents.

…… As proof of that, when you had confirmed that the child had been reunited with their parents, you brought the curtain down on that stage.

Wataru: Amazing! As expected of Nagisa-kun ☆

I’m surprised that you’re able to correctly deduce the situation even though I haven’t talked to you about it all!

Surprisingly, Nagisa-kun has the makings of a detective.

Nagisa: …… I wonder. Even now, I’m inexperienced with reading the subtleties of people’s words.

…… If I had to say, I understood because it was Wataru-kun.

Wataru: Oh my oh my, you’ve said something that made me happy ♪

This one is a bit of a doozy lore-wise.

I already talked about Rinne in the Agency post, but here goes. The Amagis were victims of the Great War like everyone else, hence the usual oh here’s some orphans that have been abandoned by society. well! guess they have no choice but to join the mafia! oops! and that’s pretty much what happened. except Rinne is a smart guy and good at scheming and planning and Ibara was like oh shit this guy is useful (+ no longer human). so he ended up becoming an executive.

Hiiro just kind of was a package deal with Rinne, but he’s not as good at planning and all that, so they snapped up this kid with an ability (Rashomon) and taught him how to fight, except no one really needed to teach him. since Rinne’s ability is noncombative Hiiro believed it was his duty to protect his older brother and you probably know from bsd how survival behaviors can get unhealthy in the mafia

after Rinne leaves Hiiro is devastated and starts his journey to try to bring him back. once Tsukasa leaves too he kind of gets worse about it. he meets Aira during the Guild conflict and Aira is like. maybe not a good influence all the time but definitely a Normal Influence.

Tsukasa’s family is like. Not exactly in the mafia but they run one of the front corporations for the mafia. Tsukasa is having a rebellious phase/formative experience when he joins the actual mafia. this complicates internal politics, but not nearly as much as it does when he leaves. (his ability is Demon Snow; most of the abilities are pretty much the same unless otherwise noted.)

Jin was one of the underground doctors and then ditched to go to Real Medical School after leaking information to the government and getting a pardon.

Nagisa is the boss because he inherited it from his adoptive father. Ibara is the one who knows practically every detail about how the mafia works and basically runs it. He does carry out Nagisa’s orders when Nagisa feels like making any.

i do what i want with my aus and that includes ELIMINATING ALL THE WEIRD STUFF. i hope youre happy readers. yes Hiyori is Elise in that he’s the manifestation of Nagisa’s ability. hes also a wholeass adult that grew up alongside Nagisa and they are best friends and also in love. Hiyori has agency in this weird ability-typical roundabout where Nagisa wanted him to be his own separate person So He Is. but also he’s badass and occasionally superhuman

Jun is just here. idk. if Karma had more of a backstory i might be able to elaborate more. he works mostly closely with Ibara but also acts as a bodyguard for Hiyori and Nagisa.

listen. i know akatsuki mafia is an interesting choice. but listen. Keito is opportunistic and willing to set aside his morals for greater ends and would fit in well. anyway he’s cool his ability is golden demon but possibly with occasional design choices that reference Vampire Shogun.

Kuro.  yeah.. Kuro. he’s got for the tainted sorrow but without the human experimentation part. (can you tell i havent read stormbringer part 1) his sister has no clue he’s in the mafia and no one in the mafia knows he has a sister. Keito’s right-hand man.

Souma is so loyal to Keito for saving him from the Shinkai cult after the war and there is nothing questionable here at all! the mafia totally isn’t exploiting his intense devotion i don’t know what you’re talking about ^-^

ryuseitai in the mafia is another interesting choice, I know. i think of them in this au kind of like the Sheep. yes Kanata is technically ex-mafia but it’s okay that was just his emo phase

Chiaki. oh, Chiaki, you poor, sweet, misguided boy with nowhere else to go, so you cling to the only place that gives you a sense of belonging. you had such ideals. (his ability is basically comet punch. idk what to tell you. he punches and its like a comet.) disregard any canon information about verlaine (can you tell i havent read stormbringer part 2)

Midori just wants to sleep but he’s got one of the more powerful abilities in the mafia (falling camellias) and his coworkers are stupid

Tetora doesn’t have an ability but he makes up for it with brute strength and various weaponry. everyone is terrified of him. Kaoru swears he saw Tetora in a dress once and mistook him for a girl and no one will believe him. (this would be easily solved because if anyone would bother to ask Tetora, he’d confirm the rumor and come out as genderfluid in the process, but everyone’s too intimidated to ask Tetora.)

Kaoru is just some guy (this is totally a front, just like being heterosexual is a front. more on that in part 5)

Shinobu has exploding ninja weapons. idk what else to tell you. they’ve got exploding ninja weapons, man.

Tori is cute (it’s a trap) (come on. who else would be Q)

HiMERU was not directly involved in the mafia, but while he was away on a “business trip”, Kaname got mixed up in some shit and ended up in the mafia (briefly) and died (for profit). If you look very, very deep in the records, well... you actually won’t find anything. But if you asked Rinne, he might remember a self-proclaimed “revolutionary” with a righteous complex that tried to single-handedly destroy the Mafia...

{Rinne was friends [as much as one can be friends in the mafia] with Jun (and Shinobu, callback to asobi club) and was kind of friends by proxy with Kaname for the short time that he was there. The seemingly meaningless death and sacrifice caused Rinne to leave the Mafia. And oh, was it interesting to show up at the Agency later on and see a vaguely familiar face...}

thank you two people who liked this post. also thank u @transactinides for drawing my silly as an emoji (its a blue clownfish). explanation under the cut because i've been rotating them all day.

Starting with Nagisa because that's where it starts. My producersona (idk if i want to just use my name or what. so i'll just call him my sona or smth for now) used to work at the natural history museum near ES as an educator and that's how they met Nagisa who often came in during slow periods and they would talk about geology and anthropology and all sorts of stuff and very quickly became good friends. Now museum work as we all know does not pay very well and they ended up complaining to Nagisa about this a few times and Nagisa went. Well let me ask Ibara if he can give you a job.

So Ibara reluctantly agrees because they still need a proper producer for Crazy:B and why not put someone with no experience in the field with them since they're both 1) new and 2) not entirely expected to stay together as Crazy:B past the summer. So they get hired in like the middle of the main story during all of the drama that the bees are starting to stir up and it's a Mess and they cuss out Ibara privately for weeks for this.

However they manage to get things to work out with minimal damage and the sona has formed some sort of bond with all of the bees after literally. whatever the fuck the main story was. Knocked some sense into all of them. They sometimes get frustrated with Rinne (and Niki when he's feeling mischievous) because there is no making him listen when he doesn't want to. Taking odd jobs without consulting them first and also playing dumb pranks or being intentionally stupid until they catch on to the joke. There is a mutual respect and understanding between the two of them for what they do for Crazy:B though.

Being Crazy:B's producer obviously means that they keep up with their other projects and help out sometimes. Which means they're more aware of what Double Face is doing than some of the others at CosPro and they worry so much for Kohaku and are like. Constantly checking in on him that nothing is wrong. Absolutely dotes on Kohaku too with little homemade gifts and affection. Has threatened Madara more than once about if Kohaku ever gets hurt (was very glad to see Spring Evening's Respite where Kohaku was trying to bring his two units together and that he was genuinely happy with Double Face. This does not stop them from worrying).

When they're alone, Niki and the sona just banter and hang out. Niki does like to tease them about everything but its always lighthearted and they feel like they can breathe around Niki while eating something comforting. They always have new stories and recipes for Niki from whatever dumb bullshit they get pulled into for the company and are trying to expand their palette so Niki always makes them a new dish to try every week.

The sona views HiMERU as the voice of reason within Crazy:B most of the time. Always someone who is calmer than the other three but inevitably gets sucked into shenanigans (the two of them are in the same boat there). However, like Rinne, they were briefed on HiMERU's whole. thing. there's details left out obviously but they are so intent on finding out what happened and that puts Oremeru on edge even though he knows they wouldn't reveal it to the public if they found out, its just that he wants to tell people on his own terms and also to stop having to tell Kaname's doctors to tell the sona to go away/they dont know what the sona is talking about.

Met Hinata at a general CosPro meeting with all the unit leaders and just instantly felt protective of him. Wants to support Hinata so bad despite not being 2wink's dedicated producer. Often helps set up Crazy:B and 2wink collabs and always has new stories for Hinata as well about their days in the museum (some of them may or may not be made up). Their specialist little guy.

Arisu and the sona met while the sona was getting a pastry or something at Cinnamon and dropping off some job information for Niki since he was at work and they just hit it off and became best friends after like. Three meetings. They make Niki's shift hell and for the sona its partially payback for how much he messes with them outside of Cinnamon. All three of them are still good friends though its all in good fun.

Okay, so recently it has been brought to my attention that some people get confused with the characters and OC’s in pushing each other to the limits, since there are so many of them. I wasn’t aware of this being an issue, nevertheless I’m glad anon pointed it out, this way I can create a character log and keep y’all updated with the new arrivals and so on!

I’ll start listing under the cut. ^w^

First off,  Ryōmen Utsukushi-sa. She is the first OC to appear and does so halfway through chapter one. She has pastel pink eyes, white and pink hair that resembles that of a fairy, hollow bones and a pair of big feather-covered wings that, when fully developed, will grant her the ability to fly. She has a sweet tooth and publicly humiliated Midoriya because Katsuki shoved Nakisakebu, a friend of hers. Her name means two-sided beauty, referring to her backstabbing yet charming personality. She has yet to come back.

Nakisakebu makes a brief appearance as well, although she isn’t that important. She gets shoved by Bakugou at lunch and then plots a way to get back at him by humiliating Izuku. Her name means weep.

On that same chapter, Shinrai Dekinai makes an appearance. He looks pretty much like a human bumblebee, with clear wings, dark, wide eyes and a pair of antennas on top of his head. He is quite fluent in English and turned his back on Izuku upon learning that the latter was quirkless as he doesn’t appreciate people lying or hiding this from him. His name is supposed to mean something along the lines of “this can’t go well.” Foreshadowing? Maybe.

Chapter two greets us with the presence of Kiru Tsume, better known as Shitty Tygra Knockoff. He doesn’t really stand out, just a common boy with the appearance of a tiger and sliced pupils. His quirk makes him part Tiger and allows him several feline-like abilities. His name is just a word play on the word “kitsune” which means fox in Japanese.

Matsuoka Akiko makes her first appearance on that same chapter. She is a young woman with pale skin, grey eyes and long ebony black hair, often referred to as a yokai because of her scary appearance. She co-owns La Parroquia de Veracruz and is a happy woman with a bubbly personality. Her name means bright, in reference to her happy personality. Her quirk, Whim, allows her to know what people want/need and tell them apart. As a child she was bullied and holds grim memories of her teenage years and school, reason why she decided to drop out of uni, quit out of her job as a waitress and help her internet best friend start his business.

Mateo Flores is a mexican boy with pastel pink skin and slightly darker pink hair. His eyes are a deep violet and he has a pair of flashy fangs that can rarely be seen since he is shy and doesn’t tend to smile as much as Akiko. He is the original owner of La Parroquia de Veracruz and his quirk, Flavour, grants him the ability to make literally anything taste like glory. His name means decisive. He settled down in Japan just after graduating high school and opened a café, hiring his ibf Akiko as a waitress and also business partner.

Takane Hikari worked as a receptionist the first time she appeared in the story, back in chapter two. She currently works as an intern for a big Support Company and resides in Hosu. Her hair is cyan, short, curly and her eyes are an icy blue. Her quirk, Splatter, although quite useless makes up for a good party trick as she can eject paint from her body. Her name means light.

Kirishima Iwao is a buff, tall man with dark skin and even darker hair. His eyes are a light shade of blue and his quirk, Rock, gives him a thick skin. However, can unharden his skin and make himself soft for a couple of minutes. He works as a trainer in a local gym. Because I’m an uncreative little shit his name literally means rock.

Kirishima Mio is a petite woman with dark hair and sharp, shark-like teeth. She has scarlet red eyes and works as a detective in a nearby precinct. Her name can either be interpreted as beautiful or saint. 

Now let’s skip to chapter three. The first to make an appearance here is Bakugou Tsuki. She has white short hair and red eyes that match with a beautiful tanned skin. Her quirk, Ember, lets her set random things on fire and then manipulate the embers. She loves to tease her grandsons and is a single mother. Her name means to thrust.

Yasu Nagisa is Inko’s mother. She is a kind yet untrusting, strict woman with green hair, orange eyes and teal skin. Her quirk, Levitate, allows her to make things fly with a simple glance. Her name means shore.

Yasu Ryuu is Inko’s father. He has blonde curls, blue eyes, and prominent freckles. Unlike his wife, he is a happy-go-lucky kinda guy with a quirk deemed best suited for villany by most people. Appearing allows him to have any object appear on his hands by just knowing what it looks like and its location. His name means dragon.

Chapter four presents us a brand new set of OC’s. First off, there’s Hazuki Kisumi, a boy with dark hair, blue skin and navy blue eyes. He has gills on either side of his neck and fins on both his calves and forearms. His name means mist, like the vague mist that can be seen on the shores at sunrise. His quirk, Introduction, allows him to know how a person would like to be approached. He is quite shy and has a slippery tongue.

Then we have Yamazaki Hiroko, a woman that looks like a triceratops all the way from head to toe. She has broad shoulders and three horns atop her head. Her skin is dark and covered in golden scales, along with her muscled tail. She has dark cocoa hair and partially heterochromatic eyes that go from amber yellow to emerald green, although her prettiest feature are her pair of glassy red lips. She has a flirty personality and likes to joke around. Her name means tolerant and her quirk, Mixing, allows her to mix about anything and everything and make it right. Is she a bartender? Mad scientist? Only time will tell.

Shiozaki Fuji is a short woman with vines for hair and a characteristic stoic face expression. She works as a receptionist in NIK and her quirk grows flowers from her hair. Her name means mountain and she is related to Shiozaki Ibara, student from class 1-B.

Daichi Yuu is an old man with a quirk that allows him to literally blend in with his surroundings. He is the principal at NIK, a responsible adult with a successful career in quirk analysis and quite a lively character. His name means intellect. 

From there we skip all the way over to chapter six, where Ai Chiasa makes her first appearance. She is Shouto’s personal chauffeur and her quirk, Teletransporting, is self-explanatory. She has purple skin and peach coloured hair that match with a calm personality. She enjoys pop culture way too much and loves the Todoroki like if they were her own children. Her name means a thousand mornings.

From the recommended exam we have Fudo Daiki, local pervert and wielder of Nightcrawling, a quirk that allows him to use dark areas to teletransport from one place to another. He has neon bright hair and a sly smile and his name means brightness, a contrast to how his quirk works. We also have Shinju Nyoko whose name means gem treasure. She is a bubbly girl with dark skin and an afro. Her quirk, Space, allows her to bend constellations, stars and such at will.

Last but not least, chapter seven brings what I believe to be the last OC’s from this batch. For starters we have Nakamura Harumi, whose name means springtime beauty. She has medium-short, long cocoa hair that match with a pair of brown eyes and grey skin. She is smart yet shy, has a weird liking for the sun and is very trusting of others. Her quirk, Host, makes her the best at organizing events and such.

Then we get introduced to Interi Hiro, a boy with white hair and pastel purple eyes. He is related to Interi Saiko, a girl from the anime-only filler Provisional License Exam episode in season three. He is a carefree guy, although he can be a little bit bitchy when out of soda since that means he can’t use his quirk, I. Q., properly. His name means abundant.

Ryoko Seina is a girl with dark skin, orange hair and bright red eyes. She is a nice person, although prone to get anxious easily. Her quirk, Moonlight, makes her extra productive at night time and she can also expand her limbs thanks to her father’s genes. Her name means innocent and she is a sweet person.

Natalya Ivanova is an elder Russian lady and the homeroom teacher for Class 101 in NIK. She is a strict teacher and likes to make fun of her students, all in good-hearted nature.

Ito Miya is the second highest ranked student in NIK. She has purple skin, pastel pink hair that’s shaved in one side and curly on the other, a scar along her right cheek, freckles and a pair of brown eyes that get hidden underneath black frames that she doesn’t really need. She has three piercings on her left ear to match Kaoru’s and a pair of demonic purple wings that flutter each time she gets excited. Her quirk, Spotlight, allows her switch the attention from herself at will. Her name means wings.

Finally, we have Watanabe Kaoru. He has tanned skin and ash brown hair along with a cute lil’ mole on the upper right part of his lips. His eyes are a vibrant green deep enough to rival Izuku’s and he has a set of three piercings on his right ear. He needs glasses and so he wears a pair of thick-rimmed frames at all times, his name means fragrance. His quirk, Handsome, allows him to morph into what people find physically appealing as long as he meets the requirements (i. e. he can’t grow boobs to appeal people who are into that). He also has a driver’s license and is a long-time friend of Miya.
